US Expat Tax Survey - Submissions until Sunday, February 3, 2019

Attention European-based American Payers of US Taxes - US Non-Resident Taxation

The overseas organizations of the major US political parties have long been concerned about the U.S. non-resident taxation policies.  Both parties are continually involved in various related initiatives. Democrats Abroad (DA) has launched its 2019 Non-Resident Taxation Research Project to generate information that they can use to advocate for reforms to relieve the burden of tax, banking, financial account reporting, securities and other laws that discriminate against Americans living abroad.  Republicans Overseas has similar efforts underway.

If U.S. non-resident taxation is applicable to you, please contribute your inputs by filling out this questionnaire.  open for submissions until midnight US EDT on Sunday February 3, 2019.

It is a lengthy questionnaire (takes about 15 minutes to complete), but you should only be presented with questions relevant to your situation, as specified in your responses.  The survey is anonymous.  All questions are optional.

Please share this email with other Americans abroad impacted by U.S. tax obligations and/or share this link on your social media channels. Thank you for your support with this important research and the efforts to persuade Congress that urgent tax relief is essential.
