The Dumb Waiter – A Play

Don’t forget! From November 15th to the 18th you can see Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter’s “The Dumb Waiter” at Pepper theater. The play is being directed by our own Susan Voight, and one of the two characters is being performed by her husband, Roger. The play is an allegory about the perils of blind obedience to authority. It is both a comedy and a tragedy. Pinter was a master at taking the small, the mundane, the personal and using it to portray what was wrong with modern society. The play will be followed by a brief discussion and a Q&A period with the director and the cast. Please come out and support Susan, and enjoy really first rate drama.
