Because of ongoing concerns about the Covid pandemic, this year we have opted for a virtual version of our annual June walking tour, but don’t be put off. We are planning an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime walking tour, that we could only undertake during a time when we are not limited to easy UBahn access. So dust off your virtual hiking shoes, and find the binoculars, because this year the program committee can offer a 100% guarantee for sunny skies and warm temperatures. No blisters, no wet shoes… just a perfect little walk from the comfort of your favorite Zoom nook.
The route is planned, but this walkabout will take place at a special mystery location. Nonetheless, you will want to be dressed appropriately. We recommend: plenty of sun screen, sun glasses, and perhaps a wide-brimmed hat to protect you from the glaring sun. Light airy clothing is best as it gets quite warm in these parts, and With the hot sun above, be sure to have plenty of libations available: a chilled fruity Chardonnay, or a lovely dry Syrah. Not a wine lover? How about an XXL Lager on tap. And don’t forget the snacks. You may just find some friendly animals to share them with.
