Munich Dialogues on Democracy in March

Thursday, 25th March (19:00-20:15) – Munich Dialogues on Democracy / Amerikahaus YouTube Livestream Event – Robert Zoellick: "America in the World - U.S. Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Past, Present and Future." In his highly acclaimed new book, America in the World, Robert B. Zoellick suggests that the United States’ engagement with the world has always been a bit chaotic, a dance between two conflicting charges: the continent-sized pull of the ongoing national experiment and the belief that American exceptionalism can remake the world. With his extensive background spanning many top-level US government positions, Mr. Zoellick will make a strong case that the story of the past can help us make the future better. This discussion will be in English. No registration necessary.
