American Citizen Services and Passport Day

Message for U.S. Citizens

American FlagThe U.S. Consulate General in Munich annually opens its doors to U.S. citizens and hosts the American Citizen Services (ACS) Information and Passport Day.  This year ACS Information Day will take place on Saturday, June 17 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the U.S. Consulate General on Koeniginstrasse 5.  The event is open to U.S. citizens and their immediate family members.

This multi-purpose event provides an opportunity for U.S. citizens to renew their U.S. passport on a Saturday, attend our Information Fair to learn about the various services available to them from U.S. and German civic and government organizations in Bavaria, and to enjoy an American-style 4th of July cookout.

If you would like to renew your passport on June 17, click here to schedule an appointment. Visit our website for a list of the documents required for the appointment and for information on other citizenship services, such as a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, which are offered at the U.S. Consulate General during normal business hours.

To learn more about the Information Fair and the list of organizations that will be attending, visit the Mission Germany website. Even if you don’t need to renew a passport, come and join us in the shade for the 4th of July cookout!  Some of your favorite American food, chips, snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.

We hope to see you there!  Please bring your passport for entry.  Remember that personal electronic devices and backpacks are not allowed into the Consulate.
