Christmas Market Meet-Up - December GNO Event
Ten AAUPW members met up at the Weihnachtsmarkt at Sendlinger Tor for some Christmas cheer on Thursday, December 18, 2025. It was also a perfect chance to celebrate Linda's 60th birthday, and we took advantage of the presence of a couple of young brass musicians who were serenading the bustling crowd to arrange a personal rendition of Happy Birthday with trumpet accompaniment for her arrival.
After about an hour of enjoying the festive atmosphere and the warming Glühwein, seven of us strolled to the nearby restaurant Andy's Krablergarten, a Munich institution, which serves some of the largest schnitzels we'd ever seen. The version with truffels that was served to the birthday girl was suitable to the special occasion.
