In June, we will tour the workshops of the Mayer'sche Hofkunstanstalt, an internationally renowned company producing architectural and public-scale mosaic and glass artworks woldwide. The fifth-generation family business is a 175 year old Munich tradition on Stiglmaierplatz, where in the early 20th century, three additional buildings and 400 employees created ecclesiastical sculptures, altarpieces, mosaics, and stained glass. The single building standing after the second World War now houses the mosaic and glass painting workshops over 5 stories. With an office of 2 in New York City (established 1888) about 35 people make up the company today.

This event is open to members only and is fully booked. You are welcome to join us for dinner after the tour at Löwenbräu.
Due to the popularity of the walking tour this year, we made some adjustments to the plans. Instead of one large group of 25 people, we will do two groups of 15 – meaning we can accommodate 5 additional women. So, we’ll need to divide into two groups. In general, the first 15 that RSVP’d will be in Group One and the rest in Group Two.
Group One will meet at Mayer'sche Hofkunstanstalt at 17:50 on Wednesday June 15 for the tour that will start promptly at 18:00. The tour will last one hour and then Group One will go to Lowenbrau for drinks while waiting for Group Two to join us for dinner.
Group Two will meet at Mayer'sche Hofkunstanstalt at 18:50 on Wednesday June 15 for the tour that will start promptly at 19:00. The tour will last one hour and then Group Two will go to Lowenbrau to join Group One for dinner.
The Dinner Only group can arrive at Lowenbrau anytime between 19:00 and 20:00.
