April Program Meeting

Our April speaker will be Kelly Wright, a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction trainer. MBSR is a set of meditation practices derived from Eastern Vipassana meditation.  Developed in the late 1970s by Professor of Medicine Jon Kabat-Zinn, it teaches people how to  self-regulate and take an active role in preventing stress-related health problems. Kelly is looking forward to sharing with us the components of mindfulness practice and how they are used in daily life, their positive effects and how you can learn to integrate them into your daily life.

Kelly is also a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist, as well as an accomplished Punch Needle artist and instructor.
