......that April is Flea Market month in Munich? The city’s largest flea market takes place Saturday, April 27, on the Theresienwiese ( site of the annual Oktoberfest) The event starts at 7 a.m., lasts all day.  Sponsored by the Bavarian Red Cross, the fair offers some 2000 stands. The event is part of the week-long Frühlingsfest, with its music, rides, booths and carnival atmosphere.

....On Prater-Insel on the Isar,  you can enjoy a lively crafts fair from April  21 to 23 , 11:00 to 17:00. Ceramics, jewelry, fabrics, paper products etc. will be  on offer plus lots of interesting food offerings . . .  And the location is special.

....Then there’s the Auer Dult at Mariahilfsplatz, from  27 April to May 5. . . pots and pans, clothes, antiques, food,kiddie rides , Steckerlfisch—- what more could you  desire ? . . . 10:00 -16:00 daily.
